Their soulful house production brings many action on the dance floor with tribal grooves and STUDIO APARTMENT has built up a reputation as one of the finest deep and house producers in Japanese dance music today.
Their smash hit track 'Flight' featuring Monique Bingham was supported by worldwide Djs like Danny Krivit, Dimitiri from Paris, Giles Peterson, Timmy Regisford, Phil Asher, Frankie Feliciano, Kiko Navarro, Joe Claussell, King Britt, Francois K, Louie Vega (M.A.W.), Blaze, Dennis Ferrer, Ron Trent, Kerri Chandler, Reel People and that led them to worldwide success.
In 2006, STUDIO APARTMENT created their own label “Apt.” on New World Records as a platform to put out quality house productions in Japan. The label represents the soulful and tech sounds of with the release of Dennis Ferrer, Tiger Stripes, DJ OJI and Jerome Sydenham.
With several hot new productions set to drop on labels including Kingstreet sounds and 4th floor (Defected), Masanori Morita expanded worldwide djing at Shelter (NY), WMC in Miami, some spots in LA, Paris Fashion Week, Walker Hills in Seoul and many remix works for major artists such as Dennis Ferrer’s How Do I Let Go.
MUSeUM Mix CD series has exclusive mix by Masanori Morita, crammed full of hot house with soulful tracks. Another compilation, “Tool” is always focused on specific genre in house music, showcasing currents dance hits.
He started his regularly party at Yellow (Tokyo) every other month and invited lots of international Djs the like of Quentin Harris, BLAZE, DJ OJI, DJ Spen, Tiger stripes, to name just a few. This party became one of hottest house event in Tokyo and he always has been enthusing over 1000 crowds.
